Tallest Man Who Ever Lived

The world's tallest man who ever lived for now, is named Robert Pershing Wadlow. He was a very tall man who measured 2 meters and 72 centimeters and weighed 197kg.

He was born in 1918 in Alton, Illinois and he died in 1940 at a very young age. He was a very normal baby until he reached the age of 4, then he suddenly grow and grow and at an age of 8 he already had reached a height of 1.88m. Believe it or not he kept growing and around an age of 19 he couldn't walk anymore, therefore he need needed some special things to support his legs.

Some weeks before he died in his sleep they measured him for the last time and some days after he died they gave him an enormous funeral, where at least 400.000 people had showed up to remember him. There is also been made a statue of him at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine, that still stands there.
